About us

The Membership Committee's primary responsibility is to engage faculty and new hires, informing them about the benefits of union membership and encouraging them to join.

The committee hosts events aimed at fostering engagement between new and existing faculty members while discussing the union's purpose and initiatives.

PA Membership Committee 

Meeting Minutes 10/4/2024

In Attendance: Laura Samuelsen, Clive Li, Raffi Manjikian

  • The committee agreed there is no need to host a Welcome Dinner in October for potentioal memebers, since there is only one new faculty member

  • We agreed to continue reaching out to the new faculty member via email 

  • The committee agreed that the welcome event, after College Service day was a success and we should continue this tradition moving forward

  • The committee discussed a plan for the business card and we plan to communicate, via email, bullet point ideas that would best relay the message of the PA

  • The committee decided on polo shirts to purchase and now we are designing the logo

October 11th is the goal to have the business card and polo shirt designs completed
